Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an translator.
The procession path concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players walked out to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ providing music and the artist driving a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.

The World Series served as a bright spot in what has been a trying year for the city. An approximate quarter-million people showed up to the championship parade last year, and according to Dodgers player Freddie Freeman, fans this year demonstrated as much if not more enthusiasm.
